Foto 65 Film from Barnaul, Russia
I saw a roll of exposed film in a Москва-2 camera that was on sale on a Russian auction site. Vladislav, the seller of the camera, was very kind to sell me just the film. The roll made a long trip from Barnaul in Siberia to Moscow and then to Uzbekistan, where I picked it and brought back to Australia.
Foto 65 was manufactured by Svema from the early 1960s till 1987 when it was replaced by Foto 64. This roll was in a very good condition, both the backing paper and the negative. It was developed in HC-110 dilution B for 7 minutes and 40 seconds at 18 °C. The negative had a lot of fog which is typical for Foto 65 and came out fairly dense. The development time could have been reduced to 6 minutes.
There were six images on the roll, the last two frames remained unexposed. The lake on the four images is most likely Lake Baikal.
